About This Course

This course covers: the key issues about how to install Microsoft SQL Server 2005; the process of installing Microsoft Dynamics GP in a client/server environment; guidance when installing Microsoft Dynamics GP on a client workstation; the System manager components of Microsoft Dynamics GP; the database options to define for the Microsoft Dynamics GP databases; how to optimize the Windows Server system; the basics of setting up Process Server; and an overview of Report Writer, SQL Reporting Services, and the FRx application.

Prerequites

Before attending this course, students must have:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows Vista, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
