About This Course

This one-day instructor-led course, What's New in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1

Audience Profile

This course is intended for IT Professionals, Consultants, and Developers who have experience with previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, primarily Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.

Prerequites

Before attending this course, students must have:

• Knowledge equivalent to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Introduction and Application courses.
• General knowledge of the basic ERP user roles.
• Basic knowledge of distribution and logistics, accounting principles and procedures, and financials processing.

At Course Completion

• Describe the improvements and the new features in the RoleTailored Client.
• Explain the improved job and purchase order integration features.
• Use the application improvements in warehouse management.
• Use the Overflow Level feature in supply planning, to help minimize inventory costs.
• Use the redesigned Matrix Pages.
