About This Course

This one-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to build simple Excel spreadsheets.

Audience Profile

This course is intended for Information Workers at the Basic Follower and/or Basic Influential levels.

Prerequites

Before attending this course, students must have Basic Windows skills such as:

• Using mouse and keyboard.
• Open, close and save files.

At Course Completion

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Navigate the Excel workbook.
• Select cells and ranges.
• Enter data.
• Create simple formulae.
• Cut, copy and paste by different methods.
• Insert, delete, resize and hide/unhide columns and rows.
• Print a worksheet.
• Use the page setup options to create headers and footers, scale the worksheet, set centering options and repeat column and row labels.
• Use formatting to enhance the presentation of the spreadsheet.
• Use conditional and custom formatting.
